Coin Master: Best Tips, Tricks and Strategies

Hey there, Coin Master fan! Whether you’ve been spinning the slot machine for a while or you’ve just downloaded the game, welcome. This guide is for you.
Coin Master is super easy to pick up. It’s all about spinning, building, raiding, and collecting—but even though the game looks simple at first, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. And once you start learning how everything works together, you can really start leveling up faster, protecting your village, and racking up those sweet, sweet coins.
So let’s dive into it together. No fancy terms, no confusing instructions—just real advice from one player to another.
What Is Coin Master All About?
Let’s start with the basics, but not the obvious ones. The tutorial already shows you how to spin and build. What it doesn’t explain well is why things work the way they do.
The gameplay of Coin Master is simple: spin to win coins, use those coins to build your village, and move to the next one. But that’s just the surface. The real fun (and strategy) comes from figuring out how to get those coins and when to use them.
You earn coins mainly through:
-
Spinning the Slot Machine
-
Attacking other players
-
Raiding other players’ villages
Each spin on the machine uses one of your available spins, and the outcomes can give you all sorts of rewards—from coins and shields to attacks, raids, and bonus spins.
Understanding the Slot Machine (Your Main Tool)
This is where you'll spend most of your time. When you're in your village, swipe down and you'll see the slot machine. Every spin uses up one of your spin points. Below the machine, you’ll always see how many spins you’ve got left.
There are five main symbols you can land on:
-
Coin Bag: Gives you coins instantly. Even one coin bag will earn you a little, but getting a full row will give you a much bigger payout.
-
Hammer (Attack): Let’s you attack another player’s village. If you’re connected to Facebook, you can even choose which friend to attack.
-
Pig Bandit (Raid): Triggers a raid where you get to dig for another player’s saved coins.
-
Shield: Protects your village from enemy attacks.
-
Energy Capsule (Spin Bonus): Gives you 10 extra spins for free.
This machine is the engine of the entire game, so learning when and how to use your spins is the key to long-term progress.
Attacks (Hammer) – Smash and Grab
If you spin and land three hammers, you get to attack someone else’s village. You’ll pick a building to hit—preferably one they haven’t already maxed out—and you’ll earn coins for damaging it.
If they don’t have a shield active, their building gets downgraded and they lose progress. If they do have a shield, they’re protected, but you still get a smaller coin reward.
You can choose to attack random players or get revenge on someone who attacked you earlier. Either way, attacking is a fun way to earn coins while also slowing others down a little.
Raids (Pig Bandit) – Dig for Treasure
Landing three Pig Bandits is your golden ticket to raiding the current “Coin Master.” This is someone the game picks as your raid target. You’ll be taken to their village, and you’ll get three shovels to dig for their buried treasure.
There are several dig spots (marked with big Xs), and three of them hold coins. Sometimes, a LOT of coins. These come straight out of that player’s stash, which makes raids one of the best ways to earn a big pile of coins quickly.
The best part? They can't stop you. Shields don’t work during raids.
Shields – Protect Your Stuff
Shields help defend your village from attacks. You can hold up to three shields at a time. If someone attacks you and you’ve got a shield, the damage is blocked and your building stays safe.
If you get attacked without a shield, one of your buildings will be damaged, which drops its star rating—and you’ll need to spend more coins to fix it.
So, yeah. Shields are kind of a big deal.
Betting: Bigger Risk, Bigger Rewards
Once you’ve got a healthy stash of spins, you can increase your bet amount. Betting means each spin costs more spin points, but the rewards get multiplied.
For example, if you bet 5x, you’ll use five spins at once—but if you land on three coin bags, you’ll earn five times the coins.
This is great when you’re feeling lucky or during special events where rewards are boosted. Just keep an eye on your spins, because they’ll disappear fast with higher bets.
Building Your Village – One Step at a Time
Each village has five buildings, and you need to upgrade all of them to max level to move on to the next village. This is how you progress through the game.
The trick is to not sit on a pile of coins. If you do, someone might raid you and take them before you get to spend them. So spend your coins as soon as you have enough to build or upgrade. The faster you finish a village, the safer your progress will be.
There are currently over 300+ villages to work through, each with its own theme. Some are cute, some are weird, and some are just plain awesome.
Pets – Your Little Helpers
Once you unlock pets, they’ll make your Coin Master life a lot easier.
-
Foxy is the first pet you unlock, and probably the most useful overall. He gives you one extra shovel during raids, which means more chances to hit the jackpot.
-
Tiger boosts the number of coins you get from attacks.
-
Rhino gives you a chance to block an attack, just like a bonus shield.
Pets are active for four hours after you feed them. You’ll need treats to keep them awake, and XP to level them up. Both can be earned from spins, events, and chests.
Cards & Collections – For Spins, Pets & More
As you open chests, you’ll start collecting cards. Each themed card set has nine cards, and once you complete a full set, you’ll unlock some awesome rewards—like free spins, coins, or even new pets.
There are regular cards and gold cards. Gold cards are rarer and give better rewards, but they’re harder to find.
The type of cards you get depends on the chest and your current village level. The further you get in the game, the better the card drops.
Trading is super important too! You can send up to five cards a day to your friends. If you're missing one card, don't be shy—trade for it! Lots of Facebook groups exist just for helping players complete sets.
Chests – What to Know Before You Buy
There are different kinds of chests, like Wooden, Golden, Magical, and special event ones. More expensive chests usually give better cards and rewards.
But here’s the thing: if you’re trying to finish a card set and you’re missing low-star cards, it might be smarter to buy cheaper chests. They have better chances of dropping common cards.
If you want Gold cards or high-level drops, save up and buy the best chests you can. Some rare chests even give out Joker Cards—these are wild cards that can turn into any card, even Gold ones. Just remember, Joker Cards expire quickly, so use them fast.
Events – Your Best Chance to Level Up Fast
Coin Master always has some kind of event going on—extra rewards for attacking, raiding, spinning certain symbols, or spending coins. These events are your best chance to earn a bunch of stuff in a short time.
If you’ve got saved spins or extra coins, wait until an event is live before you use them. You’ll get way more value for every action you take.
Events also often reward leaderboard prizes. Even if you’re not trying to win first place, climbing a little on the board usually gives nice bonuses.
Revenge Attacks – Get Even (and Get Coins)
If someone attacks your village, don’t get mad—get even.
When you land on three hammers, look for the Revenge button. You’ll see a list of players who’ve recently hit your village. Tap one, and you’ll be taken to their village for a chance to return the favor.
It's a fun little way to feel like you're not just taking hits—you’re giving some back too.
Avoid “Hacks” and Fake Spin Generators
Let’s be honest—if you Google “Coin Master spins,” you’ll see all sorts of shady websites promising free unlimited coins or spins. Just don’t fall for it.
These sites are usually scams. They’ll ask for your game ID or want you to download weird apps. They don’t work, and you might end up messing up your device—or worse, your Coin Master account.
Stick with real strategies. Collect free spin links from the official Coin Master Facebook page, log in daily, trade cards, and play smart during events.
Final Thoughts – Just Have Fun (and Spin Smart!)
Coin Master is one of those games that’s easy to play and super fun—but if you take the time to understand how it works, it becomes a lot more rewarding.
Use your spins wisely, spend your coins when you’ve got them, play the events, trade cards, and take care of your pets. That’s really all there is to it!
I hope this guide helps you get more from your game, whether you’re chasing the next village or just having fun with friends.
